Fratelli Radice is a symbol trademark of classical furnishing in Brianza.

In 1920 Mr. Adolfo Radice founded the activity as a real sculptor in a little shop below his house in Seveso, exactly in the middle way between Milan and Como.

In the first years of the Sixties his sons Gianfranco and Carlo, following their father’s passion, put the bases to transform this little shop in a firm of classic furnishing named Fratelli Radice, keeping and exalting the completely handmade works.

The choice of the style was almost forced due to the fact that in Brianza already existed a furniture tradition in French Style dated back to the time of Napoleon, when the French nobles used to come to this area to commit high level wooden realizations which, later, made school all over the world.

A choice dictated, yesterday like nowadays, by a great passion for workmanlike jobs which need the use of the world’s oldest instruments, the man’s hands.

Today the activity continues with Mr. Tiziano Radice who, thanks to qualified personnel, to a family culture and to a wide design patrimony created during a century, offers exclusive furnishing solutions with any kind of style, dimension, finishing.

Inside its own factory the firm produces dining rooms, sitting sets, bedrooms, studios, occasional furniture, kitchens, bathrooms, doors and boiseries, as well as custom made furnishings for projects and contracts.

The company researches and adjusts the collections depending on different markets and places its fittings in the most prestigious private residences, embassies, hotel suites, receptions and casinos all over the world.

Fratelli Radice is a firm that, with a strong tradition and the descendants’ care, keep the necessary dynamism to guarantee a high creative and qualitative content in its realizations, and leaving from Milan, it reaches worldwide all class interiors passionate people.

There are no machines which may give to wood shapes, touches and emotions like an handmade carving.

Carving artisan tradition has been handed down from generation to generation, and today, like about a century ago, is one of Fratelli Radice’s leading marks. Highly specialised personnel transform anonymous wooden pieces in suggestive and unique creations, in which it’s not possible to distinguish between artisan’s and artist’s job anymore.

The beauty of an inlay results from the precision in every little gesture. Small wooden sheets of different shapes, colours and shades, are assembled one by one to create exclusive and fascinating decorations and then applied to the furniture surface.

It’s the mosaic art magic, copying that of the nature, in which it is the sum of the least pieces it is composed by, that creates landscapes and atmospheres of a real beauty.

The final step in the construction of a furniture and of any furnishing item, is fundamental to make a product solid, harmonious, precise, a very prestigious piece.

For this reason we every single furniture is decorated with water based varnishes, both in polishing and lacquering, to preserve the health and the environment and with the use of acrylic resins against humidity of bath-rooms and kitchens, valorizing it with silver and gold leaves and handpainting it.

Fratelli Radice chooses precious fabrics, prestigious leathers and first choice materials, selecting them from the most ancient and renowned weavings in Brianza, in the provinces of Como and Lecco, and consign them to the capacity and creativity of expert sartorial hands able to give value to chairs, armchairs, and sofa upholstery. Not only from an aesthetic point of view: also the choice of foam is made towards the most qualitative solution, with flame retardant certificate, to guarantuee the utmost confort and safety.

Fratelli Radice’s job don’t stop with the finishing of a furniture. Before delivery every single piece is carely screened, assembled and checked, to be verified with the high company’s quality standards. Extreme care and caution is given to the packaging as well, to ensure the maximum protection during the long worldwide journeys.

The company in fact obtained the title of “Master of Art” in 2007 from the Italian Chamber of Commerce rewarding its technical and enterprising abilities and the diploma of “Excellent Artisan” released by Lombardy Region. The trademark “Made in Brianza” testifies the absolute origin and local production together with the intrinsic quality of Fratelli Radice’s furniture. Moreover, to attest the long tradition in interior decoration, in 2018 the company awarded a prize that few others achieved, for more than 50 consecutive years presence at the Salone del Mobile in Milan.
