The inspiration for the Ludovica dress came from an Art Nouveau exhibition. The light and floral motifs of the period, applied to architecture, figurative arts, jewellery and glass works, made the creative team think of embroidery on a cream base, with a profusion of small daisies linked together by iridescent sequin embroidery in soft pastel colours. The choice of fabric was oriented towards a silk-touch tulle , for its special light characteristics, lined in taffeta to create volume and rustle, with a layer of fresh and light muslin in contact with the skin.
