Who we are

Already four generations of the Rodolfi’s family are leading the company with an exciting history, which began over 125 years ago in the heart of the Food Valley. In the three production plants in Ozzano Taro, Fontanini and Castelguelfo we process about 280,000 tons of fresh tomato per year.

The picked tomato processed become tomato puree, tomato paste and tomato pulp. We offer the best products to Ho.re.Ca and retail channel but also industrial channel where we’ve been leaders for 50 years. Not only tomato: we use the best raw materials of the traditional mediterranean cuisine to create pesti and sauces. R&S sector is one of the important asset of our job, because we are consumer – oriented offering them the best quality and meeting their needs.

An another important asset are the long-term relationships with our farmers. Our mission is to preserve the knowledge and experience of those who’ve been working the field for generations with a future-oriented approach: we dream of cultivating in a more modern, efficient and environmentally friendly way

1. Natural ingredients

Field, sun and water: that’s what tomato needs to get strong and to grow healty. When the tomatoes are reaching the right intense red color, we know that’s the moment. We wait patiently that the tomato reaches the right degree of ripeness to be harvested because just at that moment the tomato develops its magnificent taste.

2. Local processing

What makes the difference is the time between harvesting and processing: our tomatoes are harvested at the right degree of ripeness and they come to our production plants within 24 hours. This is the key to keep intact the taste and the nutritional values of the tomato just picked, excellent antioxidant and very important partner for your health.

3. Responsible Manufacturing

Always committed to sustainable production, our goal is to preserve environmental resources for future generations. That is why we constantly pay attention to the footprint we leave in the world, engaging in research for solutions in order to optimize water consumption and ensure the proper use of natural resources.

The care of the field, controlled cultivation and raw materials selection are the base for a continuous attention to the sorrounded environment and to the quality of the final products. The relationship between us and the farmers, whom select the best fruits for the Rodolfi products, is the key of our success.

The tomato is 100% italian, cultivated in a radius of 60 km from the production plants and specially in the province of Parma, in the area where the most envied culinary inventions in the world come from. It’s the land where we were born and grow up, passing on from generation to generation the passion we’ve got since over 125 years.
